  Starting October 1, 2007, when you purchase or renew a Small Business Solutions™ commercial property, liability, commercial auto, equipment breakdown insurance policy or a farm insurance policy through a local Royal & SunAlliance Insurance Company of Canada broker, you can earn 1 AIR MILES® reward mile for every $20 you spend (including taxes), to a maximum of 15 reward miles per month, per policy*.

  Once you’ve registered for each policy at www.rsagroup.ca, you’ll earn reward miles.

What is the AIR MILES® Reward Program all about?

The AIR MILES® Reward Program allows Collectors to earn travel, leisure, entertainment and other lifestyle rewards quickly, simply by doing their everyday shopping for products and services at more than 100 brand-name Sponsors across the country. AIR MILES® reward miles can be redeemed for more than 800 different rewards, such as movie passes, family attractions, CDs and DVDs, electronic merchandise, sports and recreation, travel and more. So AIR MILES® Collectors can spend their money on the things they need to get the things they want. You’ll be redeeming your reward miles sooner than you think.

Who is eligible to receive AIR MILES® reward miles?

Eligible customers include those who have a home, car or Small Business Solutions™ insurance policy with RSA or Western Assurance. The Offer of AIR MILES® reward miles is only available to eligible customers in the Provinces of British Columbia (excluding personal auto and Small Business Solutions™ individually-rated commercial auto), Alberta, Ontario, Quebec (on Small Business Solutions insurance only), New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island and the Territories of Yukon, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories. Only commercial policies designated as Small Business Solutions are eligible. Policies serviced by RSA for the Risk Sharing Pool, Facility Association or Residual Market are not eligible for AIR MILES® reward miles.

How do I earn AIR MILES® reward miles with RSA?

• Personal Insurance
  Starting June 1, 2007, you can earn 1 AIR MILES® reward mile for every $20 you spend on your home or car insurance policy, including taxes, with Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada or Western Assurance Company *.
   
• Small Business Solutions™
  Starting October 1, 2007, you can earn 1 AIR MILES® reward mile for every $20 you spend, including taxes, on your Small Business Solutions commercial property, liability, commercial auto, equipment breakdown insurance policy or a farm insurance policy with Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada, to a maximum of 15 reward miles per month, per policy*.
  
  You simply need to register your AIR MILES® Collector Account, Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada or Western Assurance Company policy number, and effective date of your policy at www.rsagroup.ca once you receive your new or renewing policy declaration. When you enter the Website, you will be prompted to accept the Terms and Conditions of the offer, prior to registering your policy and Collector Account information. AIR MILES® reward miles are allocated monthly based on the total value of the policy premium, including taxes, divided by the term of the policy in months and then divided by 20. In the case of a policy premium that is the equivalent of less than $20 per month, a minimum of 1 AIR MILES® reward mile will be issued each month*.

How do I get an AIR MILES® Reward Program Card?

You can enroll in the AIR MILES® Rewards Program by calling 1-888-AIR-MILES (888-247-6453) or by visiting www.airmiles.ca and following the instructions on how to enroll online.

I think I had an AIR MILES® Card once, but I can’t find it. What should I do?

If you cannot locate your card or think you may already have an AIR MILES® Collector Account, please call the AIR MILES® reward miles Customer Care Centre at 1-888-AIR-MILES (888-247-6453). If they cannot locate an existing account, they will be pleased to enroll you into a new account.

What happens if I don’t have an AIR MILES® Card, but my spouse/family member does? Can I give them my AIR MILES® Card?

You can use any valid AIR MILES® Card number; however, only one Collector Account can be used with each policy.

Can I register my AIR MILES® Collector number to my policy after it is purchased?

Yes. An AIR MILES® Collector Account can be added to a policy after the effective date, but there are no retroactive earnings. In order to add your AIR MILES® Collector Account, please visit www.rsagroup.ca or call Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada at 1 888 877 1710. AIR MILES® reward miles will begin to accumulate once you have registered with Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada as an AIR MILES® Collector. AIR MILES® reward miles will be issued monthly over the course of the remaining policy term.

Can I get AIR MILES® reward miles without showing my AIR MILES® Card to the broker?

In order to collect reward miles, you can simply register your AIR MILES® Collector Account, RSA or Western Assurance policy number, and effective date of your policy at www.rsagroup.ca once you receive your new or renewing policy - without showing your AIR MILES® Card to your broker.

How many brokers are included in the AIR MILES® Reward Program at RSA?

No. You can visit www.airmiles.ca for full details.

When will I see my reward miles on my AIR MILES® Statement?

You will periodically receive AIR MILES® Statements in the mail or you can check your online AIR MILES® Account balance (which will be updated daily) at any time simply by logging onto www.airmiles.ca. It may take up to 75 days for the AIR MILES® reward miles to appear in your account.

Where do I go if I have questions about my AIR MILES® account?

You can visit www.airmiles.ca for information about your AIR MILES® account, or you can call the AIR MILES® Customer Care Centre at 1-888-AIR-MILES for more information.

Can I pay my premiums with an AIR MILES® credit card to get double reward miles?

Absolutely. Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada is pleased to offer credit card payment options. Collectors can earn miles when paying for purchases using an AIR MILES® Bank of Montreal Mosaik® MasterCard® with AIR MILES® Option. Please note that Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada does not accept payments via American Express® on personal home and car and Small Business Solutions policies. Customers can pay using other credit card products, depending on their payment plan, however, AIR MILES® reward miles would not be issued by that credit card.
