RSA's Annual Charity Golf Tournament in support of STARS Air Ambulance

Tuesday, June 11, 2019
This year marks the 25th anniversary of RSA's Annual Charity Golf Tournament in support of STARS Air Ambulance.

Founded in 1985 by Dr. Greg Powell, STARS Shock Trauma Air Rescue provides emergency helicopters to individuals who live in mostly rural Western Canada. With a large portion of the Canadian population living in remote areas, Dr. Powell recognized the need to provide emergency air support, quickly and efficiently, to individuals in need of medical assistance.

Check out the video below to learn more about how STARS has helped thousands of people over the years:

RSA has been a player in the Canadian insurance industry for over 170 years. Through our rich history, we’ve seen many instances of people in remote areas who are affected by unforeseen events such as wildfires and floods, and who need urgent medical assistance, which is why we decided to partner with such a great organization like STARS.

Over the past 25 years, RSA's Annual Golf Tournament has been able to raise $587,740 with 100% of the proceeds going to STARS to enable them to do incredible work for the community.

The day-long event will be held on June 19th, 2019, which will once again be held at Country Hills Golf Club in Calgary, Alberta. As always, there will be food, drinks, special guest appearances, and of course, golfing!
